NOTE:
There may still be some dust or production residues on
the device. We recommend that you clean the device
as described under „Cleaning“.
Before Initial Use
• Fill the water container with water.
• Turn the on/off switch (6) on.
• Turn the regulator to the maximum setting. Then
switch on the device on the handle.
• With the adjustment ring (1) you can set the type of
water jet. You have the choice between a soft jet and
a massage jet.
• Allow the water to fl ow directly into a wash basin in
order to remove any residues.
• Rinse the nozzle attachments briefl y under running
water.
Nozzles
The scope of delivery contains 4 nozzles with diff erent
coloured rings. These can be allocated to diff erent users.
Operation
• Before using the water jet you should clean your
teeth with a toothbrush.
• Attach a nozzle on the handle in such a way that the
aperture of the nozzle is pointing at the water stop
button. Ensure that the nozzle is fi xed fi rmly in posi-
tion.
• Fill the water container with water which is hand
warm. Please do not fi ll in any hot water.
• In order to clean the nozzles, allow water to fl ow
through the nozzle head (at maximum water pres-
sure) into the wash basin before and after each time
the device is used.
• Then use the water pressure regulator to select the
desired water pressure. Be-gin on the smallest set-
ting, especially if you have problems with bleeding of
the gums or when the water jet is used by children.
• Make sure that you hold your head above the wash
basin. Pass the nozzle along the gums and teeth.
• After use, please turn the water pressure regulator
back to position „Min“.
• Turn the device off on the handle.
• Please clean the device as described under „Cleaning
and Care“.
Cleaning and Care
• Before cleaning the water jet, remove the mains plug
from the socket. The housing and mains supply must
not be cleaned or immersed in water. The housing
should only be wiped off with a moist soft cloth.
• Pour away the remaining water from the water
container.
• After use, always remove the nozzles from the handle
and clean them thor-oughly under warm running
water, before drying them off and returning them to
the storage container.
• Drive the handle before inserting it into the water
jet.
• When water additives are used, rinse out the water
container with clear water. Then fi ll the water con-
tainer with 100 ml of clear water and pass the water
through the device into the wash basin.
