Answering Machine (only D 7000)
Your DECT-Telephone has a built-in digital answering machine (without cassette)
with a capacity of maximum 11 minutes. It is remote controlled. Each message can
last maximum 2 minutes.
Answering Machine Operation
As soon as the base set is connected, the answering machine will be switched on. It
will operate in „outgoing message with recording“ – mode. Three beeps will be set.
Now you can use all features of the answering machine (recording, time setting, PIN,
etc.).
Switching On/Off the Answering Machine
Press the On/Off key

(29) ca. 2s, to switch the answering machine on or off.
If you switch the answering machine off, the LED (23) is flashing and
„ANRUFBEANTWORTER AUS“ (ANSWERING MACHINE OFF) is displayed.
If you switch the answering machine on, the LED (23) is flashing and
„ANRUFBEANTWORTER EIN“ (ANSWERING MACHINE ON) is displayed.
While doing that, the answering machine will be set to the default settings:
Default Outgoing Message 1
“BITTE HINTERLASSEN SIE EINE NACHRICHT NACH DEM SIGNAL” (PLEASE
LEAVE A MESSAGE AFTER THE BEEP) or the message recorded by you with the
setting 3 beeps.
Note:
If the answering machine is off, it will switch on after the 10th ring so that
it can be switched on and programmed by remote control.
If the answering machine is on, it will answer calls after the set number of rings.
