AEG WiFi200 is released from factory in AP mode. It can be connected with the 485 communication interface of inverters
and can be operated over computer or mobile software.
6.3.2 Monitoring solutions
AEG WiFi200 communication modules features three monitoring solutions according to specific requirements:
1.
Direct connection. Allows short-distance site control
2.
Router-LAN. Allows remote LAN monitoring.
3.
Router-Internet. Allows remote access internet control.

Direct connection is suitable for short-distance monitoring. The connection scheme in sketched in the above
figure 34. To set up direct monitoring, hardware and software devices such as the AEG AS-IC01 and AS-IC01-2
series solar inverters, AEG WiFi200 communication module, computers enabled for WiFi signal reception, and
AEG InverterControl solar monitoring software (AEG InverterControl App) are needed. AEG WiFi200 operates
in AP mode which is also the default mode of the module. The monitoring device can view the inverter through
wireless mode.
