Channel Board
Each channel board (A and B) displays measurement data
for that channel.
Protection Circuit State
Item
Description
Protection
Indicates when current dumping is being done
through the crowbar of that channel. The LED
indicator is gray when the crowbar is open (while
measuring or dumping) and turns to red when the
crowbar closes, dumping the transformer energy
through the voltage channel instead. A warning
message appears: “CROWBAR PROTECTION
ACTIVATED.” When the current drops, the crowbar
circuit resets itself and all warning messages
disappear.
Reading
Stability
Indicates if the voltage reading (and displayed
resistance reading) has stabilized. The LED
indicator is gray when the DWR-10 is idle, when it
is dumping current, or when measuring has begun
but is not yet stabilized. It turns yellow when
approaching stability (1% or less variation in the
value for ten consecutive readings). It turns green
once the nominal current value is reached and the
resistance measurement is almost the same each
time (within a 0.25% tolerance for ten readings in a
row).
