The potential leads should be between the current clamp
and the EUT.
Turn the input switch ON.
Use the I/t button to select the Current set field, “I=SET”.
Use the up/down arrows to adjust the current to 20-amps.
Use the I/t button to select the time setting field, “t=SET”.
Use the up/down arrows to adjust the time to infinity (
∞
)
symbol.
Press the START/STOP test start button.
The DRM-100 will ramp up the current to the selected
test current in 2-3 seconds, and then hold the current, until
the operator presses the START/STOP button again.
The resistance value will be visible once the current is
stabilized and will automatically update itself every
second.
Move the potential leads to any location to measure the
resistance of the portion between the potential leads.
Press the START/STOP button to stop the current at the
conclusion of the test.
