1.1 Introduction
AIMB-281 is designed with the Intel H61 for industrial applications that require both
high-performance computing and enhanced power management capabilities. The
motherboard supports Intel Core i7-3770 3.4 GHz/Core i5-3550S 3.0 GHz/Core i7-
2600 3.4 GHz/Core i5-3570 2.3 GHz/Core i5-3450 3.1 GHz/Core i5-2500T 2.3 GHz/
Core i3-2125 3.3 GHz/Core i3-3220 3.3 GHz/Xeon E3-1275 3.4 GHz/Xeon E3-1225
3.1 GHz/Pentium G620 2.6 GHz/Celeron G460 1.8 GHz processors, L3 cache of up
to 8 MB, and DDR3 1066/1333/1600 memory up to 16 GB. AIMB-281 also offers rich
I/O connectivity with 6 serial ports, 8 USB 2.0, dual GbE LAN, and 3 SATA II ports.



nel DDR3 1066/1333/1600f MHz SDRAM.
– Supports non-ECC unbuffered DIMMs. Does not support memory configura-
tions that mix non-ECC with ECC unbuffered DIMMs.
Note! A 32-bit OS may not detect the RAM when only 16 GB is installed.
