IOS Operation
User Password
This item allows users to set user passwords. Select the item and press
<ENTER> to access the sub menu, and then type in a password.

Save & Exit Configuration
Save Changes and Exit
After completing the system configuration, select this option to save all changes
and exit the BIOS setup menu. Next, reboot the computer to implement all sys-
tem configuration parameters.

Select the “Exit and Save Changes” option in the Exit menu and press <Enter>.
The following message will appear: Save Configuration Changes and Exit Now?
[Ok] [Cancel]

Select “Ok” or “Cancel”.
Discard Changes and Exit
Select this item to quit the setup menu without making permanent changes to
the system configuration.

Select the “Exit and Discard Changes” option in the Exit menu and press
<Enter>. The following message will appear: Discard Changes and Exit Setup
Now? [Ok] [Cancel]

Select “Ok” to discard changes and exit. Alternatively, select “Discard Changes”
from the Exit menu and press <Enter> to discard the changes without exiting.
Restore Defaults
The BIOS automatically configures all setup items to their optimal settings when
this option is selected. Defaults are designed to maximize system performance,
but may not be ideal for all computer applications. For example, default settings
should not be used if the computer is experiencing system configuration prob-
lems. Otherwise, select the “Restore Defaults” option from the Exit menu and
press <Enter>.
