INSTALLING/REMOVING THE BATTERY
PACK
The battery pack is not charged at the factory.
Charge it before use.
1.
Match the positive and
negative symbols on the
battery and radio. Slide
the battery in to the radio.
Once battery is in the radio
compartment push down on
battery near the bottom to
snap it in. Hearing the warn -
ing tone means the battery
contacts are normal.
2. Take the battery cover
and slide it on to the back of
the radio with the two tabs
facing towards the top of the
radio. Slide until tabs go in to
the radio and the cover is on.

On the bottom of the radio fasten the battery
latch by pushing it towards
the battery cover.
INSTALLING THE
ANTENNA
Screw the antenna into the
connector on the top of the
two-way radio by holding the
antenna at its base and
turning it clockwise until
secure.
Note: The antenna is
neither a handle, a key ring
retainer, nor a speaker/
microphone attachment point.
Using the antenna in these ways may damage
the antenna and degrade your two-way radio’s
performance.
