1. At “ Set % DFB ” , press START to display “ Base Reading = xxx ” .
The freezing point units will be the same as the units selected for
the regular freezing point test displays.
2. Press CLEAR to set the base to 0. Then use the numeric keypad
to enter the base value required.
3. When the base is set as required, press ENTER to save the setting
and return to the display to “ Set % DFB ” .
4. At “ Set % DFB ” , press STOP to return to the display “ Cryoscope
Ready ” .
12. Select Display mH/mC
This menu item enables changing the readout temperature units (see
Foreword for a discussion of the units of measurement used for milk
cryoscopy).
CAUTION Changing this setting requires changing the % DFB set-
ting (if not set at zero), as well. (See Set % DFB , above.)
Changing this setting will erase all data stored in Recall and
Statistics memory.
1. At “ Select Display mH/mC ”, press START to display “ [mH] <
Display * [mC] ”.
2. At “ [mH] < Display * [mC ]”, the current setting is indicated by
the symbol “*”. Press < or > to toggle the display readout
between mH and mC.
3. Press ENTER to store the new setting (or STOP to restore the
original setting).
13. Select Language
This menu item enables selecting one of the alternate language display-
panel messages.
