SCRUB SYSTEM
SCRUB BRUSH MOTOR/GEARBOX REMOVAL (DISC)

Follow the steps in the
Scrub Brush Deck Removal (Disc)
section.

Turn the brush deck on its back.

Remove the scrub brushes from the brush holders. If removing both motor/gearboxes mark the location of the holders and motors to the brush deck for proper
re-assembly.

Remove the (3)
(E)
Hex Screws from the
fl
exible coupler that attaches the brush holder to the drive Hub
(F)
of the Motor/Gearbox Assembly
you want to remove.

Remove the (1) Hex Screw
(G)
that secures the Hub
(F)
to the output shaft on the defective motor/gearbox. Then pull the hub from the shaft and save the
key.

Remove the (4)
(H)
Screws and separate the defective Motor/Gearbox Assembly
(I)
from the scrub deck.

Re-assemble in reverse order and test for proper operation. Note: Apply a small amount of grease or a product called “Never Seize” to the gearbox output shaft
when reinstalling the Drive Hubs
(F).
