Question:
The mouse keeps disconnecting.
Answer:
Through testing we have found out that this is caused by the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi saving mode in Windows
8/8.1. Before Microsoft releases a patch we are offering a possible solution for this situation consisting in turning off
the power management.
Using the right button click on “This Computer” – “Manage” – “Hardware Manager” – and double click “Bluetooth“.
Using the right button click on the “Bluetooth Adaptor“ and select „Properties“. Go to the “Power Management” tab.
Here uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off the equipment in order to save energy”. Confirm by “OK”.
Then in the Hardware Manager double click “Network Adaptors”. Using the right button click on your Wi-Fi adaptor
(e.g. Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter) and select “Properties”. Go to the “Power Management” tab. Here
uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off the equipment in order to save energy”. Confirm by “OK”. Then restart your
computer, please.
