OPTI-APPS Configuration Files
OPTI-APPS can save and load configuration files (.oac files), allowing different network
configurations for different purposes. For example, OPTI-APPS can save...
• ...different states or regions to separate files.
• ...two copies of the same network: one configured for remote IP access (saved to desktop
PC), and one for local serial port access (saved to laptop).
• ...an ‘overview’ configuration, including only the GNEs.
More than one configuration can be loaded at a time, and run simultaneously.
When a configuration is loaded, the configuration name replaces the OPTI-APPS logo at the
root level of the Nav Pane, and appears in the application window header (see Figure 27 ).
