Sorting Network Elements
Gateway and Remote NEs in the element tree can be sorted. Sort options are accessed through
the context menu.
Sorting Remote NEs
The context menu offers the option to sort Remote NEs alphabetically.
To sort Remote NEs:
1.
Right-click on the appropriate Gateway NE to display the context menu.
2.
From the context menu, select
Sort Remote NEs
to alphabetize the subtended NEs.
Sorting Gateway NEs
The context menu offers
two
options to sort GNEs. GNEs can be sorted alphabetically, or
connected (as opposed to disconnected) GNEs can be brought to the top of the list.
To sort GNEs:
1.
Right-click on the
root node
to display the context menu.
2.
Select
Sort
from the context menu to display the two sorting options for GNEs.
3.
Select one of the following options:
• Select
Sort Gateway NEs
to alphabetize the GNEs.
• Select
Bring Connected to Top
to bring connected GNEs to the top of the list.
