ESCRIPTION

This Quick Start provides instructions for the installation of the
GPON TA352/TA374 Optical Network Termination (ONT) units (P/N:
1287802F1C, 1287803F1C). The GPON TA352 4th Gen ONT has two
POTS ports and two Gigabit Ethernet ports; the GPON TA374 2nd Gen
ONT has four POTS ports and four Gigabit Ethernet ports.

The ONTs are enclosed in a weather-hardened Network Interface Device
(NID) which mounts to the exterior of a building. The figure below
illustrates the TA374 ONT in the context of the NID with the access door of
the NID removed.

The ONT is a Class 1 Laser Product.

NSTALLATION

This section explains NID installation and all cable routing.
After unpacking the ONT, inspect it for damage. If damage is noted, file a
claim with the carrier and then contact ADTRAN. For more information,
refer to the warranty.
