SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Table 1-1 shows customer-provided requirements for using the
Express 3100.
ORDERING A BASIC RATE ISDN LINE
Request EZ-ISDN 1 (Capability Package U) when ordering your ISDN
line from the telephone company. The telecommunications industry
recommends EZ-ISDN 1 for most home office/small business applica-
tions.

One Basic Rate ISDN
Line Includes two ISDN phone numbers; sometimes
referred to as local directory numbers (see also
Ordering a Basic Rate ISDN Line on page 1-3).
Single-ISDN phone number and point-to-point lines are not
recommended for use with the Express 3100.
