the KYBD-OUT jack.

INS OUT & INS IN:

The insert output and input and connected to these

jacks. The output is half normalized to the input.

BUS OUT:

The channel output that defaults to the busamp out-

put with most channel versions is available on this jack.

Actually this jack is connected to the channel output

amplifier. The signal on this jack depends on the setting of the channel.

MT INS:

This jack is half normalized to the BUS OUT jack. It can be used for three dif-

a) it gives direct access to the input of the DAW without any amplifiers or pas-

sive components in the console if the MT-INS switch in the particular switch

is pressed.

b) in combination with the INPUT switch of the module, it allows access to the

Tape Chain input in Input mode

c) with inline modules, it makes possible to access the input, when the ‚SUB‘

input of the record chain is active.

For details on the use of the jacks, please read the description of the channel

type that is installed.

Please note, that some special channels, like stereo modules, multi-input mo-

dules, etc., use the jacks in a different way.

The MICROPHONE INPUT is not installed on the patch bay, since a TT jack is

not an appropriate connector for low level, sensitive audio signals. We offer

other patch bay versions, that are better suited for patching microphone sig-

nals. Please ask for details if this is an issue for you.

The Patch Bay Master Panel

This panel is always installed. It combines

the outputs of the stereo master, and the

auxiliaries, the inputs of the stereo returns

in the master section, the master insert,

the 2-track repro and record jacks for ex-

ternal stereo devices and additional jacks,

like PFL and talkback outputs.

Most  of  the  jacks  on  the  master  panel

are  directly  connected  or  in  parallel  to

25-pin D-sub connectors on the master

connector panel.

The 2-Track Repro jacks M1 to M10 are
