5.5.4 Screen resolution for cloned displays 

If clones are created, the operating system automatically uses the lowest common value for the screen 

resolution.  

 

 

5.5.5 Display of a start screen 

Regarding the display of a 

boot screen

Regarding the display of a 

login screen

The login screen is only displayed on the integrated display of the OPC9 and on an additional 

monitor configured as a clone.

Monitors configured as extended desktop are supplied with an image signal by the operating 

system only after successful login.  

 

 

 

 

Recommendation: 

The Windows display settings in this case only show a 1|2 or 1|3 

clone, which does not correspond to the facts.  
They should therefore no longer be used. 

 

Recommendation: 

Only use FullHD monitors with 1920 x 1080 px for the parallel 

connection.
