EQUIPMENT TESTING - 1 OF 1
Check vehicle battery voltage.
Set multimeter to DC volts. Connect RED test
probe to Voltage (+) input. Connect BLACK test
probe to Common (-) input.
Put RED test probe tip on 12V (+).
Put BLACK test probe tip on ground (-).
If multimeter reads under 12V (+), charge
vehicle battery.
If vehicle battery doesn’t get a 12V (+)
reading when tested, verify cables, fuses and
equipment.
If vehicle battery doesn’t hold charge, change
the battery.
NOTE: Multimeter must read approximately
12V (+) and remains stable.
Equipment testing procedure completed.
