Expansion I/O
Expansion I/O port connects VM22A to the FastVu. This
port provides the audio channels and switching control
signals.
15-way male D connector.
Expansion I/O Loop
The VM22A unit number is defined by Unit ID switch on
front panel. Cascading of multiple VM22A units is via a
daisy chain cable from the Expansion I/O Loop port to the
next VM22A Expansion I/O port.
15-way male D connector.
Auxiliary I/O Interface
Auxiliary inputs and outputs compatible with VM22
operation is provided via the Auxiliary I/O interface.
Auxiliary I/O functionality will only be available when the
VM22A Unit ID =0.
7-way screw terminal connection.
Input Level Display
A green and a red LED are visible on the front panel

Power Supply
12 Volts DC (@ 3.5 Watts max).
Requirements
Maximum voltage range (including ripple voltage) 10.5
Volts DC to 15 V DC.
2-way screw terminal connection.
WARNING
The VM22A must only be powered from one of the
AC Power Adaptor(s) supplied with it.
For markets where the VM22A is not supplied with a suitable AC Power
Adaptor, a Safety Extra Low Voltage (SELV), Limited Power Source (LPS)
rated AC adaptor meeting the requirements of IEC 60950 (or the local
equivalent) with a regulated 12 V, 0.5 A output rating may be used.
Under no circumstances can the VM22A be operated from the AC Power
Adaptor supplied with FastVu. Connection of the VM22A to the AC Power
Adaptor supplied with FastVu will invalidate the safety approval for both
FastVu and VM22A and may represent a safety hazard.
