6 Driver Installation
The cPCI-6630 drivers can be downloaded from the ADLINK web-
site (
http://www.adlinktech.com ). ADLINK provides validated
drivers for Windows 7 and Windows 10. We recommend using
these drivers to ensure compatibility. VxWorks BSP and QNX BSP
can also be downloaded from the cPCI-6630 product page on the
ADLINK website.
6.1 cPCI-6630 Drivers
The driver installation procedure for Windows 10 is described
below. Note that since Intel does not support EHCI on the 6th gen-
eration Intel® Core™ platform (formerly "Skylake"), it is recom-
mended to use a PS/2 KB/MS to install the Windows OS.
1. Install the Windows operating system before installing any
driver. Most standard I/O device drivers are installed during
Windows installation.
2. Install the chipset driver by extracting and running the pro-
gram in ...\Intel_Chipset_Win10x64_v10.1.1.38_public.zip .
3. Install the graphics driver and utilities by extracting and run-
ning the program in ...\Intel_Graphics_Win10x64_
v15.40.31.64.4549.zip .
4. Install the LAN drivers by extracting and running the program
in …\Intel_Chipset_Win10x64_v10.1.1.38_public.zip .
5. Install the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Utility by extract-
ing and running the program in …\Intel_RST_Win10x64_
v15.2.0.1020.zip .
6. Install the Intel® Management Engine Interface driver for
Intel® AMT support by extracting and running the program in
…\Intel_ME_Win10x64_v11.0.4.1186.zip .
7. Install the audio driver and utilities by extracting and running
the program in …\Realtek_Audio_Win10x64_v.R279.zip .
