Attaching and releasing the mixing bowl
1. Unlock the swivel arm and lift it up (see “Raising
the swivel arm”).
2. Place the mixing bowl on the mixing bowl holder,
initially placing it inclined at a slight angle.
3. Rotate the mixing bowl anti-clockwise as far as it
will go in the LOCK direction.
To release the mixing bowl:
− Rotate the mixing bowl anti-clockwise as far as it
will go in the LOCK arrow direction.
Select power level
Use the rotary switch to select the power level.
1-2: low speed
3-4: medium speed
5-6: high speed
Recommended speed settings for the different attachments:
Attachment Level Mixing
Dough hook
1 - 2
Heavy doughs (e.g. bread dough, shortcrust pastry or
pasta)
3 - 4 Medium-heavy doughs (e.g. cake mixture)
Whisk 5 - 6 Whipping liquids, cream, egg whites or puddings
Flat beater 3 - 6 Lighter mixtures (e.g. sponge cake mixtures, pancake
batter, etc.) and mixing and stirring in of ingredients
