Using the protection disc and splash guard
The
splash guard
and the
protection disc
are used to maintain hygiene and
cleanliness. However, it is still possible (but not recommended) to use the machine
without these items.
Splash guard
The splash guard is slipped over the mixing bowl and can be rotated to give easy
access to the filling opening (see arrow).
This means that you can add more ingredients to the mixing bowl whilst the machine is
running, if necessary.
Protection disc
The protection disc fits together with the
attachment to be used. It prevents any contact
between the drive shaft and the dough.
1. Push the protection disc onto your chosen
attachment from above (rotate slightly if
necessary). Note the guides provided on the
disc and attachment.
2. Rotate the protection disc clockwise as far as
it will go.
