10.1 Med-O-Wheel

Med-O-Wheel is a product available from chemists that is an
excellent everyday storage system for medicines. In practice, it is the same
as the cassette in the Med-O-Wheel Smart, with a dosage calendar and a
cover.
Its use is very simple; the cover is turned one notch and the medicine
poured into the compartments. The dosage calendar shows which dose is
in the compartment in question.
Because the Med-O-Wheel’s dosage cassette is completely compatible with
the Med-O-Wheel, you can buy several cassettes and, when you go
travelling for example, take with you ready distributed medicine for a longer
period of time.
11 Warranty
The manufacturer’s warranty lasts for two years from the date of purchase.
The warranty covers any manufacturing and raw material defects arising
during the period of guarantee and notified to the manufacturer or
authorised service company, and the costs of repairing damage incurred by
the product as a result of such defects.
For warranty repair, the device must be delivered to the manufacturer. The
warranty does not cover normal wear, such as batteries. Neither does the
warranty cover damage caused by use for other than the intended purpose
or use contrary to these instructions.
Depending on the number of daily dosages and the number of necessary
audible signals, the batteries will last for 6-12 months. Only use good quality
batteries.
12 Med-O-Wheel CE certification
The Med-O-Wheel Smart is classed as a MEDDEV 2.4/1 medical device
and meets the standards for CE certification.
