Please note!
The Med-O-Wheel Smart is an electronic device, which
should be protected from moisture. Only the dosage cassette is made of
dish-washer resistant plastic, so the whole device must NOT be soaked or
put in the wash.
If necessary, the other parts of the Med-O-Wheel Smart may be wiped with
a damp cloth and mild detergent. The cloth should not be so wet that it
leaves drops of water on the surface of the device. The drops might enter
the device and damage it.
8 Other noteworthy matters
Do not fill the dosage cassette with suckable tablets, as they may soften in
moist air and stick to the cassette. Tablets coated in gelatine may also stick
to the compartments. Always store medicine in a dry place. A dry tablet will
not get stuck so easily.
If the Med-O-Wheel Smart moves the dosage cassette by more than one
compartment when the operating button is pressed, this means that one or
more of the previous doses have been missed. The dispenser is designed
to disregard possibly forgotten dosages, so that the dose meant for just the
time in question is the one that is available.
9 Additional equipment and
accessories
9.1 Lock
As additional equipment, a metal lock that locks and opens with a key can
be acquired for the Med-O-Wheel Smart. The device can then only be
opened by the holder of the key. Two keys are delivered with the lock.
Normally the keys are made in series so that all locks have the same key.
Individualised locks can also be ordered and delivered.
9.2 Dosage stickers and dosage
calendars
Additional dosage stickers and calendars can be ordered from the outlet
where you purchased the product.
