Instructions for assembly of the brackets and castors
Warning: Do not operate without the feet fitted. Operate the heater only in the upright position
(feet at the bottom, controls at the top). Any other position may create a hazardous situation.
Warning: The radiator is heavy – ensure that it is supported to prevent it from toppling.
Ask a second person to help with this if necessary.
1. Place the radiator upside-down on a level, soft location,
making sure it is stable and will not fall. (see figure 2)
2. The two brackets with castors are different sizes.
The larger one will fit only on the front panel with
thermostat and switch unit.
3. Put one of the two U-shaped bars between first and second
fins (near the front cover).
4. Be careful to position the power cord in the curved slot that
guides it out at the front end of the heater – make sure that
the power cord is not pinched or damaged when fitting the
castor bracket.
5. Position the castor bracket onto the U-shaped bar and
onto the screw on the heater underside.
6. Fix the castor bracket with three of the wingnuts supplied.
The nuts should be sufficiently tightened, but please avoid
using tools that might overtighten them and damage the
screws. (see figure 3)
7. In the same way fit the smaller castor bracket at
the rear end of the heater.
8. With the castor brackets fitted, turn the heater the right way
up (the handle, switch and thermostat must be uppermost
when in use). Stand it on its castors as shown in the figure
and the radiator is ready for use.
This appliance is for household use only.
Should it be used at variance with the intended area
of use, the guarantee will not be valid.
