HISTORY
The Osmond device is equipped with internal storage space to save images and data of scanned
documents. This feature can be activated by selecting the "local database" option in the
SCAN PROCESS / RESULT UPLOAD menu and together with zip format (PACKAGE FORMAT menu).
The fields can come from different sources (e.g., MRZ, RFID) therefore the values from all available
sources will be stored in the database but in the search interface these values appear as merged.
Once documents are saved, they can be browsed in the HISTORY by using multiple filter criteria.
For filtering time periods, use the date format of the MRZ lines (e.g., 210919 stands for 2021
September 19).
The available storage space highly depends on the number of installed OCR engines.
Refer to the SYSTEM INFORMATION / DISK section on detailed information on used disk
space.
The barcode and RFID data cannot be reloaded at HISTORY / Load.
