Settings
Under settings, there are several impor-
tant features to look at.
Starting point:
Instead of the robot starting from the
same place every time, you can enable
a function where you individually
define two places for the robot to start
from.
If you turn this function on, it will
then switch by default between two
places along the boundary wire where
it runs. This is partly to ensure that
the robot drives in different ways and
gets around better, but it is especially
advantageous if you have several zones
separated by a narrower passage. See
picture.
If set to 0%, the robot will start cut-
ting as soon as it leaves the charging
station. If set to 25%, it will run approx-
imately 25% along the total length of
the boundary wire and start from there.
Similarly for other % settings.
The robot learns how long the bound-
ary wire is.
If edge trimming (‘edge’) is enabled,
the robot will go all the way around
and trim the edge first each day before
it starts following the selected starting
points.
Rain delay:
The robot has a rain sensor on the top,
which is activated by default.
When the rain sensor on the robot de-
tects water, the robot will stop cutting
grass and return to the charging station
and wait 3 hours (from the last drop
of water detected) before continuing,
provided it is still within the scheduled
time for the robot to run. Waiting time
is 3 hours by default, but can be adjust-
ed in hours and minutes. If the waiting
time is adjusted, this is confirmed by
pressing ‘Save’. If 00H 00M is select-
ed or the function is switched off, the
robot will cut grass even if it rains.
Firmware update
This menu item allows you to update
the robot firmware
Press the ‘Checking for updates’ button.
If there is an update, this will pop up
and ask you to confirm its installation.
Tap on ‘CONFIRM’.
The update will be downloaded to your
phone (this can take a few minutes) and
will be sent to the robot if it is within
the Wi-Fi signal range. The app shows
when this has been completed.
Device parameters:
This menu contains the device infor-
mation (model name and serial num-
ber). Here, it is possible to change the
name of the robot.
Wi-Fi settings:
Here you can connect the robot to a
new Wi-Fi network.
