Adagio Water Features Inspiration Falls Assembly & Mounting Instructions
4 of 7
3)
The two middle holes use EZ-Anchors. Pre-drill with a 1/8” bit and screw the EZ-Anchors in.
4)
Of the four holes, the two outside holes carry almost all the weight of the water and the Water Tray
using two toggle nuts and bolts. Pre-drill these outside holes with a 1/2” spade bit this will allow the
toggle nuts to set in the wall.
5)
You are now ready to mount the water tray. Find the bolts that fit into the toggle nuts (if the toggle nuts
are on the bolts remove them).
6)
Put a rubber washer on each of the bolts then insert the bolts through the two outside holes.
7)
Screw the toggle nut on the end of the bolt just enough to allow the threaded end of the bolt to stick out
the other side of the toggle nut. Then, pinch both toggle nuts closed and insert each into the wall
where you pre-drilled with the 1/2” spade bit.
8)
Push the bolt and toggle nut into the wall until you hear or feel the toggle bolt open on the other side.
Then tighten each bolt while lightly pulling on it. Do not tighten all the way. Leave about ½” left to
tighten.
NOTE
: If you are planning on plugging the fountain into an outlet that is
NOT
behind the stone but near by,
we suggest you feed the power cord from the Hood between the Water Tray and the wall. Because of its
limited length, leave only 6 inches of the power cord exposed beneath the Water Tray. If the power cord
will not reach the intended outlet you may need to use an extension cord. We suggest putting the power
cord in the middle of the tray between the two inside holes (these are the holes you will use the EZ-Anchors
with). You may simply set the hood on the floor while doing this, just set it out of the way so as not to
damage it or trip over it.
9)
Now, take two pan head screws and insert them into the 1 inch rubber stops. These stops are used to
hold the stone away from the wall.
10)
When the pan head screws are all the way through the stops insert them into the two slots on the
bottom of the Back Splash Guard. This is the flat rectangular piece of copper. When the Back Splash
Guard is up against the wall the folds of copper should be towards the wall. Then, line up the pan head
screws with the two middle holes of the Water Tray. The Back Splash Guard should be on the inside of
the Water tray, NOT between the wall and the Water Tray.
11)
Screw the pan head screws into the EZ-Anchors but do not tighten all the way. Get your level out and
check for level before tightening. Tighten the pan head screws first and make sure the Water Tray is
level then finish tightening the toggle bolts.
Warning: Do not over tighten the pan head screws; this
could cause them to pop through the 1 inch rubber stops.
12)
Make sure the Water Tray is secure and tight against the wall. The Back Splash Guard may not be
flush against the wall, but should be firmly in place.
5. Hanging the Stone
1)
If you are going to use an electrical outlet behind the stone now is the time to plug in the power cord
from the Hood. You may simply set the hood on the floor out of the way so as not to damage it or trip
over it.
2)
With at least two people, stand the stone up in front of the Water Tray and set it on a block of wood.
The block of wood will allow you to get your fingers underneath the stone with out pinching them.
