1 ACTISYS ACT-WF8000U WINDOWS XP NATIVE DRIVER REMOVAL PROCEDURE
Your ACTiSYS ACT-WF8000U is shipped with the latest driver on the CD. If you had already
installed the Windows XP Native Driver, the following steps will remove the Native Driver and then
you can follow the ACTiSYS ACT-WF8000U Installation Instruction to install the latest driver.
How do you know whether you have the Windows XP native driver?
Answer:
It is YES if your product name is “
SigmaTel USB-IrDA Dongle.
” Figure 1 and 2 will tell you
whether this is the case or not.
