Introduction
Modem Features
The Modem features two
LED
s (lights) on its front panel, and series of ports on its
rear panel. We recommend the user become familiar with these features before
installing or setting up the Modem.
Front Panel
There are two
LEDs
(light emitting diodes, or lights) on the front panel of the
Modem, as shown in the figure, below.
PWR LED
The
PWR
(Power)
LED
glows green when power is supplied to the Modem.
When it flashes, the Modem is going through its initialization process.
LK LED
The
LK
(Link)
LED
glows green when the
DSL
connection is active. When it
blinks, data is traveling across the connection
