8 Installing the Microfilters
Installing the Microfilters
Microfilters are needed for every phone in your household.
Microfilters are installed on telephones to improve voice call
quality when voice and data equipment are using the same
telephone line.
Microfilter Installation for Phones that are Connected to a Computer
Step 1 Plug the microfilter into the Phone jack in the back
of your computer (Figure 4).
Step 2 Plug one end of the telephone cord into the micro-
filter
Phone , and the other into the phone itself.

Step 1 Plug the Microfilter into the wall jack. (Figure 5)
