3.4
CPU heat sink installation
1.
Remove the heat sink and apply the appropriate amount of hot silicone
paste on the bottom of the heat sink.
2.
Place the heat sink on top of CPU, so that the four mounting holes are
aligned with the heat sink bracket on the motherboard and below.
3.
Screw the two diagonal plane screws until they are in place (do not
tighten the screws too much to avoid damage to the CPU and heatsink)
4.
Fully tighten the four bolts to install.
5.
Reverse the sequence of this procedure to remove the heat sink.
