3.3 CPU installation
Precautions:
1.
Please purchase Intel CPU through formal channels.
2.
Make sure that the processor you purchased belongs to the
supported type for this system.
3.
If you purchase the CPU heatsink separately, make sure you
use the actidata-approved heat sink.
Detailed installation of LGA2011 processor steps:
1. Press the left-hand fixed wrench (A) and push it slightly to the right (B) until
the wrench comes out of the retaining clip; and then gently lift the
non-adjustable wrench (C).
WARNING
: The protective cover on the CPU mounting box is used to
protect the pins on the socket, so it can only be removed after the CPU is
installed.
