Click
Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
then click the
Properties
key:

If there are values in any of the IP address fields on this screen, record these addresses prior to
implementing any changes so that the original values can be restored after the adapter has been updated.
Click
Use the following IP address
and enter
192.168.1.100
in the
IP address field
and
255.255.255.0
in the
Subnet mask
field. Do not enter any values into any of the other IP address fields. The properties
page should look like the following:

Click the
OK
key to accept the changes and close the
Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties
page. Click the
Close
key to accept the changes and close the
Local Area Connection Properties
page.
Finally, close the
Network and Sharing Center
window to return to the desktop.
