3.4 Status indicator LED
This LED tells you the status of your radiator:
- Off: the radiator is off (in the case of operation by a PLC base unit, a green
LED shows when the system is sending a STOP signal).
- On, green: the radiator is in operation, the electrical element is not hot.
- On, red: the radiator is in operation, the electrical element is hot.
- Flashing red or green: the radiator is being configured with a PLC unit.
3.5 PLC association / disassociation
(TAX only)
Configuring your radiator with a PLC base unit:
Set your radiator to NO HEAT position. Switch the control unit to send (see its
manual). Then set the selector switch to CONFIGURATION. The status indicator light
then flashes green. Then turn the selector switch to NO HEAT, and the status indicator
continues to flash. Go back to the CONFIGURATION position, then the status indicator
goes out, showing the radiator is configured. You can now use it in any mode with your
PLC programmer.
Disassociating your radiator from a PLC base unit:
Set your radiator to NO HEAT position (the indicator light is off). Then set the
selector switch to CONFIGURATION for one minute: the status indicator light flashes
green. When the indicator starts to flash red, set the selector switch to NO HEAT, then
go back to the CONFIGURATION position at once. The status indicator light goes off,
and the radiator is separated from the PLC unit.
4. Maintenance and troubleshooting
tips
4.1 Routine maintenance operations
High-quality materials and surface treatment protect your radiator against
corrosion and impacts.
To maximise the service life of your radiator, we recommend you take the
following precautions:
- Never use abrasive or corrosive products on the outer surfaces of the appliance
(except the electrical parts); use warm, soapy water.
- Use a soft, dry cloth without any solvents to clean the control box.
