If you are experiencing problems with your Bluetooth speaker, there are some quick and
easy checks that you can do, which may help to solve the problem.
Problem
Solution
No sound / power:
• Check that the mains power cable is connected securely, is
plugged in and the power switched on.
• Check that you have switched the power switch on the back
of the Bluetooth speaker to on.
• Check that you are not in Standby mode. Press and release
the button on the top of the Bluetooth speaker, or the
red ‘Standby’ button on the remote control to power on the
product.
• Check that you have not muted the volume. Press and
release the ‘Mute’ button on the remote control.
• Increase the volume.
• Check that the connected device is in playback mode.
• Check that you are in the correct mode for the music that
you wish to listen to and that you haven’t left a 3.5mm
Audio input cable in the AUX in socket on the back of the
product.
Sound distortion:
• The volume level is too high. Please reduce the volume
level.
• The volume level of the connected device is too high. Please
reduce the volume of the connected device.
Unable to pair with a
Bluetooth device:
• Check that you are in Bluetooth mode. Press and release
the button on the top of the Bluetooth speaker or the ‘BT’
button on the remote control to go to Bluetooth (BT) mode.
• Ensure that you are within range of the Bluetooth speaker
for Bluetooth functionality,10 metres or less (33 feet or less).
• Move the Bluetooth speaker and Bluetooth device away
from other Bluetooth devices/electrical equipment.
• If possible, turn off other nearby Bluetooth devices or
disable their Bluetooth functionality.
