Bluetooth (BT) mode

Check that your Bluetooth speaker is in Bluetooth mode. ‘bT’ will be displayed and be visible
through the speaker cloth.
If you are not already in Bluetooth mode, briefly press and release the   button on the top of
the Bluetooth speaker or the ‘BT’ button on the remote control to go to Bluetooth mode.

Connecting or ‘Pairing’ with your Bluetooth speaker

In Bluetooth (BT) Mode:
The first time that you use your Bluetooth speaker it will power on in Bluetooth mode. ‘HI’,
followed by ‘bT’ will be displayed and be visible through the speaker cloth.
1.  The red LED on the front of the product will now change to blue colour and then flash

between red and blue as the product searches for other Bluetooth devices.

2.  On the device that you would like to connect to your Bluetooth speaker via Bluetooth (e.g.

iPod/iPhone/iPad/Android/other phone/Computer), turn on Bluetooth connectivity and
ensure that it is ‘discoverable’.
Note: If necessary, refer to the instructions for your device to add or set up Bluetooth.

3.  Select to ‘Add new device’, if necessary.
4.  Note: Some products will automatically search for a new device and so the ‘Add new

device’ option is not available.

5.  When found, your Bluetooth speaker will be displayed as ‘AS Audio’.  Select the device

name to begin pairing.

6.  When your Bluetooth speaker has successfully connected or ‘paired’ with another

bluetooth device, the blue LED will remain steady on. ‘bT’ will continue to be displayed.

7.  Now that you have paired your device with the Bluetooth speaker, it will connect to it

when it is within range, which is about 10 metres or less (33 feet or less), line of sight.
Note: If your device requests a password, please enter ‘0000’ or ‘1234’ to complete the
device pairing.

Listening to Music/Audio using Bluetooth

Please ensure that you disconnect any audio connection cables from the AUX in socket on
the back of the Bluetooth speaker before you attempt to play any music via Bluetooth.
In Bluetooth (BT) mode:
1.  Select and start the music or audio that you wish to listen to on your paired Bluetooth

device.
