S81M uses INTEL Pentium 4 processor in the 478 Pin package and the Northwood Processor with the
Brookdale chipset delivers a high performance and professional desktop platform solution.
With INTEL chipsets Brookdale MCH and ICH2, S81M provides the processor interface, DRAM interface, AGP
interface, and HUB interface. The CPU interface supports the INTEL Pentium 4 processor subset of the
Extended Mode of Scalable Bus Protocol. INTEL Brookdale is optimized for the INTEL Pentium 4 processor
and INTEL Northwood processor. It supports a single channel of PC133 SDRAM. The MCH contains
advanced power management logic.
