Maintenance of the scale
* Always keep the scale in horizontal position, in a cool-dry place.
* Avoid hitting or dropping the scale otherwise damage may occur.
* Do not put heavy items on the scale when not in use.
* Do not overload the scale otherwise you can damage the sensor.
* Treat the scale with care as it is a high precision electronic instrument.
* Do not immerse this product in water.
* Clean the scale with a soft, damp cloth, do not use chemicals or harsh abrasives.
* Keep the scale surface dry and do not use it on slippery floor.
* Do not stand on the scale with wet feet as it may cause slipping.
* The product is not for trade use.
Maintenance and care
Recalibrating the scale
If the scale has been moved or flipped upside down, it must be recalibrated to ensure
accurate results.
1. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface.
2. Step on the scale with one foot until the digits appear on the display, then, step off.
3. The scale will show “0.00”, indicating that the calibration process is complete.
Troubleshooting
The *Lo* symbol on the display indicates that the battery power is running low.
Please replace with new battery.
The *Err* symbol on the display indicates that the scale is over-loaded.
Please step off to avoid possible damage to the product.
If the *C* symbol is shown on the display as you step off the scale, it indicates
that an error has occurred. Please step back to weigh again.
Why doesn't the scale work?
- Please check if the batteries are installed properly.
Why does the data on screen disappear in a flash?
