16.2.3 Status LEDs
The status LEDs belonging to the DS260 docking station for the mobile terminal and the spare battery are
described below.
Mobile terminal:
The power LED is green:
The docking station is supplied with current via the power supply unit.
The charge LED is red:
The mobile terminal is charging.
The charge LED is green:
The mobile terminal is fully charged.
The charge LED is not lit:
No mobile terminal is inserted in the docking station.
The temperature range for charging the M270battery is 0 °C to 35 °C/32 °F to 95 °F. There is a temperature
sensor integrated in the DS260. Charging is stopped, when trying to charging out of this temperature range.
The charge LED ist blinking red. A completely discharged battery with 3,400 mAh capacity is charged to 50
% after about 1.5 hours and charged to 95 % after about 3 hours. After about 4 hours, the battery is fully
charged.
Spare battery:
The power LED is green:
The spare battery station is supplied with current via the power
supply unit.
Spare battery charge LED is red:
The spare battery is charging.
Spare battery charge LED is green:
The spare battery is fully charged.
Spare battery charge LED is not lit:
No spare battery is inserted in the docking station.
16.3 Software
The mobile terminal software is described in various documents such as “Administration Manual” or
“Programming Manual”. These documents are available via the following Internet address in the customer
