UPS Function
The Accurat Powerstation features a simplified UPS (uninterruptible power
supply) function. When the mains plug is connected to the Powerstation
and an AC load is connected to one of the Powerstation’s sockets at the
same time, equipment can thus continue to operate even if the power sup-
ply is interrupted. For example, if there is a power failure, the unit switches
to battery operation in less than 30ms.
Important note : This is not a professional UPS function (for example
according to the IEC 62040-3 standard, which require significantly shorter
switching times). Please make sure that the device you want to protect via
the UPS function of the Powerstation does not require a shorter switching
time and test the function several times in advance. We accept no liability
for any loss of data during the operation of a server or workstation, for
example, or for malfunctions of sensitive laboratory equipment.
For UPS operation, the following
maximum values for continuous power
must not be exceeded.
• Solid 1500 : max. 1500W
• Solid 2000 : max. 2000W
• Solid 2200 : max. 2200W
