Eyepieces (Fig. 9) 

Remove the eyepiece cap 

  and insert the eyepiece 

 into 

the eyepiece tube. 

 

 
 
 

Mercury Lamp Power Supply (Fig. 10) 

Make sure the main switch to the microscope and mercury 
power supply are in the off (O) position.  
 
Connect one side of the plug 

 to the port on the mercury 

lamp house and tighten the lock screw 

.   

 
Connect the other side of the plug 

① 

to the port on the 

mercury lamp power supply 

 
Connect the one side of the power cord 

 to the socket 

 

on the mercury power supply and the other to an electrical 
outlet that is well grounded. 
 

 
 

The Fuse (Fig. 11) 

Make sure the main switch to the microscope and mercury 
power supply are in the off (O) position.  

 

Remove the plug

Fasten the flute

of the fuse set

by fingers, take out the 

fuse set

from holder.  Remove the fuse

and change a new one.  Re-insert the flute back into the
