Unscrew breech cap (Item 6) from breech (Item 5) and ensure that stunner is not loaded.

Withdraw bolt (Item 4) complete with buffers (Items 2 and 3) from the breech.

Clean inside of barrel (Item 1) and breech including U/cut in breech with a rag soaked in young’s 303 fluid
and followed with the steel brush end of cleaning tool.

Wipe the barrel and breech out with a clean rag.

Remove the buffers from bolt and wire wheel or brush carbon from piston end of bolt - wipe with oily rag
when clean. Wipe any residue from buffers and examine for wear.

There are 3 buffers, 2 black and 1 red, the red buffer is placed in between the two black buffers.
DO NOT NEGLECT THE BUFFERS OR SLEEVES. TOOL PERFORMANCE WILL
BE DIMINISHED IF THESE PARTS ARE NOT IN GOOD CONDITION
