Installation instruction
Disconnect the earth lead from the battery.
Remove the taillights and the rear column panellings on the right and left sides.
To install the cable set, remove the round plugs from the bottoms of the rear columns on both sides (the plugs are no
longer needed).
Connect the cable set as follows:
a)
Lead the ends of the 7 / 12-wire cables through the grommets opened in step 3 into the right and left rear
columns and on to the outside. Lead the pre-assembled socket to the outside and on to the socket
enclosure. Fit the cable sleeve provided on the cable assembly to the passage on the vehicle side.
b)
There are two different washers under the socket. One is used by side entrance of leads, the other - in axis
entrance.
Side entrance:
used in permanent assembly of tow hook with closed socket holder and detached tow
hook with folded socket holder. In such event, remove overpass in casing of connection socket.
Note !!!
Use washer under socket assigned to side entrance for folded socket holder. Remove the othe
washer assigned for axis entrance (it will not be used).
Axis entrance:
used in permanent assembly of tow hook with opened socket holder and detached tow
hook without folded socket holder.
Remove washer assigned for side entrance (it will not be used).
