AC Schnitzer Shift Paddle Set F-G & M-models
Fitting the AC Schnitzer Shift Paddles
Before fitting the AC Schnitzer shift paddles,
note the safety regulations on page 2!
Release the battery negative clamp and remove
from the battery terminal. Lay battery negative line
to one side and secure against short-circuit.

Remove airbag unit. For this, insert Torx driver
TX27 straight into the concealed opening until a
sprung resistance is felt. Using the Torx driver,
press the spring wire bracket in the direction of the
arrow until the airbag unit is released. Repeat pro-
cedure on the right side (steering wheel side) and
carefully lift airbag unit.
Separate plug connector
(Fig. 2)
of airbag unit, re-
move airbag unit and store safely.
Fitting Note:
Ensure that the electrical lines are routed correctly.
Connect plug connector. With an even pressure,
press the airbag unit into the steering column,
straight and parallel in the direction of the steering
column axis, until it can be heard and felt to engage.
For easier installation of the AC Schnitzer shift pad-
dles, we recommend removing the steering wheel.

Separate plug connector and pull off. Release steer-
ing wheel fixing bolt and remove steering wheel.
