WARNING -
safe usage instructions
1.
The lift may only be used on hard, level, and solid
surface. Place the lift with a free distance around
the vehicle of at least 0,5 m to the sides, and of at
least 1 m to the front and the back.
2.
Place the control box within full range of vision of
at least 1 m from the lift.
3.
Avoid excess load. Excess load may result in
damage to and/or failure of the lift.
4.
The steering arms must be locked with at least
0,85 m between the lifting saddles lengthwise
the vehicle.
5.
Lift only on areas specified by the manufacturer to
prevent the vehicle from sliding down.
6.
Always lower the lift to next safety catch before
working on the vehicle.
7.
No person may stay in or under a vehicle when
the lift is being operated. However, only one
person may stay in the vehicle with doors and
windows closed.
8.
Maximum permissible pressure: 170 PSI - 12 bar.
Assembly
1.
Before use: push the quick fitting of T-gland (30)
on to the deplugged tube at the under side of the
control box.
For stationary use secure the lift by bolts and pos-
sibly concrete the hydraulic hoses into the floor.
2.
Place the lift on hard, level, and solid surface.
Place the lift with a free distance around the
vehicle of at least 0,5 m to the sides, and of at
least 1 m to the front and the back.
3.
Connect the control box and the lift to hydraulic
and pneumatic hoses. Place the control box within
full range of vision of at least 1 m from the lift. Also
see to it that it is not necessary to run the vehicle
over the hoses.
4.
Connect pressure air (max 12 bar) through gland
(¼” pipe thread).
GB
Use of the lift:
Operation of control box only when in normal horizon-
tal position. Operation of this box in any other position
can cause oil spillage.
Lifting:
Press down the right side of the control pedal.
Lowering to work position: Press half down the left side
of the control pedal until the safety catch is locked.
Lowering:
1.
Lift until the safety catch is no longer locked.
2.
Press down the left side of the control pedal.
Let the pedal go, and the safety catch will
automatically lock.
Transport:
It is easy to transport the lift and the control
box by the trolley (optional). Place the control box
upon the lift.
Maintenance
When exposed to humid air the air engine might be
damaged on a long view.
A built-in water seperator and air lubricator is
recommended to extend the pump’s life and prevent
breakdowns.
Daily:
Check the lift’s safety catch to work satis-
factorily. Check hoses for cracks or other possible
damages. With no built-in water separator and air lubri-
cator fill about 1 cm³ oil into the gland (24). Activate the
pump to disperse the oil in the air engine.
Monthly:
Grease all the lubricator nipples. Oil the
screw spindles of the lifting saddles, the hinged of
safety catch and other mechanical parts.
Annually:
Make a total check - esspecially of: state of
hoses, function of safety catch, screw spindles of lifting
saddles, locking device of supporting arms.
Oil level should be checked with oil waste. Correct
oil level is up to filling screw (21) with the control box
in horizontal working position and the lift in minimum
height.
Quantity of oil:
3¼ l.
Any good hydraulic oil of viscosity ISO VG 15 can be
used.
Never use brake fluid!
Troubleshooting
1.
The lift cannot lift to maximum height, and the pump
runs continuously: Refill the oil tank. See ”Mainte-
nance”
2.
The air engine goes slowly: The air supply is insuf-
ficient (min. 500l/minute). The air filter (26) of the
control box has been blocked and should be clea-
ned or changed.
Destruction
When the lift after several years is worn and must be
dismantled, the oil must be drained off and legally
desposed of.
