7.6. Color sample test
The test monitor enables you to adjust the colors of a monitor.
Select the sample test menu item using the MODE button.
Now you can connect the black plug of the video cable to the input of a monitor. An eight-color standard test
image appears on the screen.

8.1. Maintenance
8.1.1. Functional test
Regularly check the product's physical state, e.g. check for damage of the housing.
If you suspect that safe operation cannot be guaranteed anymore, disconnect the product and ensure that it
cannot be used by mistake. Remove the batteries.
You can assume that safe operation is not possible anymore when
•
the device shows visible damage,
•
the device does not function anymore
Please note:
The product is maintenance free for you. Inside the product are no parts that can be checked or
repaired, so do not ever open it (except for changing the batteries as described in these operating
instructions).
8.1.2. Recharging the battery
The power display (battery symbol in the left upper corner of the LCD display) shows the current charge of the
Li-ion battery.
If the battery is empty - empty battery symbol - turn off the device and connect it to the supplied power supply.
The

status display appears red. Once it turns off (ca. 2 - 3 h), the battery is fully charged.
