Trouble shooting
Dear customer,
our technical support is eager to support you with any kind of technical problem during installation, setup
and usage of this product. Plese read this trouble shooting note befor you contact our technical support. The
main problems can be often solved – Thank you!
Error Things to be checked
Check wether the power supply gives 12V DC
Check wether the fuse has been burned Speed dome does not show a picture on the
screen and cannot be linked to the keyboard.
Check wether the 20pin cable of the camera foot
has fallen off.
Check the monitor’s power and switch it on.
Check the monitor’s brightness and contrast control.
Check wether the video signal line of the speed
dome camera is connected properly or has been
disconnected
Speed dome does not show a picture on the
screen, however, it is linked to the keyboard.
Check the settings of the OSD of the camera.
Check the circuit of the communication cable to the
speed dome camera.
Check wether the ID number is correct.
Speed dome shows a picture on the screen,
however, it cannot be linked to the keyboard.
Restart the system
Check wether the ID number matches with the ID
setting of the speed dome camera
Deactivate the camera’s auto panning function.
(Auto pan LED is not lid)
Speed dome is linked to the keyboard, however, it
cannot be controlled.
Check wether the speed dome camera is in the act
of processing the alarm due to alarm interchange
action. This eliminates all functions.
Deactivat the camera’s auto focus function (Auto
focus LED is not lid) and try to focus the object
manually.
Change the zoom ratio. Zoom out to receive a
wider angle of view.
Speed dome camera is out of focus.
Wipe with cotton-cloth when there are dusts on the
transparent cover or on the speed dome lens.
