PRE-INSTALLATION

Upon receiving the product, please verify that it doesn’t have any type of fl aw, scratch, dent, etc, that it is in perfect
condition, and ready for its installation. All our products are submitted to a rigorous quality testing system before
being supplied.
Before tiling or installing any type of material on or above the shower tray, verify that it has been installed correctly
and check that it drains perfectly.
The installation must be carried out by qualifi ed personnel, and in compliance with current local standards. The
manufacturer refuses any responsibility for inconveniences caused by an improper installation or use, and will not be
liable for any costs derived from the substitution of glass enclosures, tiling or any other type of material.

X : Glass enclosure zone. The minimum area reserved for the glass enclosure is 30mm.

CLEANING
For day-to-day cleaning it is recommended that you use a non abrasive sponge or damp cloth with a ph neutral soap.
Apply with a multipurpose cleaner and lightly abrasive dual purpose sponge is recommended (similar to those used for
the day-to-day cleaning of crockery) or soft cloth then proceed to rinse with fresh clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
When the need to remove limescale arises we recommend the use of habitual limescale removing creams, leaving it
to act on the limescale for about 1 minute before proceeding to rinse with fresh clean water and dry with a soft cloth.

PRECAUTION
Avoid any type of contact with chemically aggressive products (solvents, acids, thinners, bleach, alcohol etc...),
which may cause damage to the surface. Should such contact occur, wash with an abundance of fresh, clean water
and ph neutral soap, then rinse and dry.
Although it has a high tolerance to impacts, it is not completely ‘indestructible’. Strong mishandling may cause a
complete breakages.
The shower tray has been designed with a view to indoor use, and should not be left exposed to direct sunlight.

TOXICITY . This product is non-toxic and harmless to humans, animals and the environment.
ECOLOGY . Onde out of service, dispose of the product according to local waste recycling legislation.

1. Check the product.
2. Material supplied.
3. The area where the shower tray is to be installed must be perfectly level.
4. Mark valve position and install.
5. Check tray drains correctly.
6. Clean installation base and rear of showertray
7.1 OPTION (A). Actual bonding of showertray to the substrate. Spread an R2/R2T bicomponent polyurethane
adhesive with a notched trowel, according to regulation EN 12004:2008+A1:2012 (Hidrobox recommends Ultrabond
ECO PU 2K by Mapei ).
7.2 OPTION (B). Actual bonding of showertray to the substrate (for sizes up to 100x200 cm). Spread a mono-
component adhesive (Ultrabond MS Rapid ) in strings that are 10-mm thick every 7 cm and every 3 cm on the edges.
Read the adhesive’s technical data to apply correctly. Otherwise, problems fi xing the plate to the substrate may arise.
7.3 OPTION (C). Installation with feet.
8. Expansion joints. The expansion joint must be a minimum of 3 mm.
9. Protecting the showertray.
10. Installing the grid.
11. Sealing the perimeter joint and drying time.
