Appendix A
Trunk Group Exceptions
For users who are separating individual Trunks in the system, there are several
applications that affect Speed Dialing, Last Number Redialing, and CID
Call-back.
Customers use Trunk Grpuos for a variety of reasons; however here are the most
common:
1.
Analog lines coming into the 924 as Trunks. In this application, the 924 is
working independently from the other PBX, but some connection is required to
that PBX for communications.
2.
Several companies using the same system, yet they have different Trunks from
each other to keep the billing and the traffic entirely separate.
Because there is no programming method in the 924 to select Trunk Groups for
Speed Dial, Caller ID Call-back, and Redial, there will be certain limitations as
described in the following chart:
